BOC has the widest Lease finance network in the Sri Lanka and offer very competitive interest rates with free insurance coverage on Leased Assets for the entire Lease period.

FUNDS TRANSFER

                          i.          RTGS and Slips

RTGS is a Fund Transfer mechanism between Banks on real time basis. SLIPS facility to transfer the money to various Bank branches on the due date.

                        ii.          Collection Accounts

BOC can collect funds deposited by corporate customer’s clients and transfer the entire collection to their main account at Corporate Branch on same day.

                      iii.          Salary Payments

Companies with large payrolls can perform their staff salary payments by merely handing over your diskettes to us with the relevant data.

                      iv.          Standing Orders

You can set a payment to be taken at a certain frequency for a set amount of time from your bank account. Your payments will consist of money set at an amount chosen by you.

Ø CDS Settlement on Share Trading

Bank of Ceylon is one of the four (04) settlement banks of the Central Depository System of Colombo Stock Exchange. The following share brokering firms make their settlements through Bank of Ceylon.

Ø Clearing of Cheques and Drafts

Customer can obtain the above facility to clear the proceeds of their cheques received from their clients.  Cheques are cleared according to a time schedule stipulated.

Ø Speedy Cheque Realization at Bank of Ceylon

Cheques drawn on online branches of Bank of Ceylon and deposited in any of the 621 on-line branches will realize on the same day.

Ø Encashment of Cheques

Customer can issue a cheque to an authorized person and request him to obtain payment from a remote branch and instruct the bank to effect that payment on personal identification.

Ø Cash Collection and Cash transport facilities for large Corporates

BOC will collect cash at your doorstep and you will be free of all hassles in handling cash.  Accounts will be credited on same day value.

Ø BOC i-net Facility

Customers can view their Current Account Operations through the Internet.

Ø Fund Management

The Bank could provide the service of transferring excess funds in Current Accounts to a special Call Deposit Account or vice versa on daily basis enabling you to earn an income on excess funds.
